Chicago / London / Washington, DC / Cologne
Koelnmesse Inc. and CMIA announced today that they will present Carbon Summit in a virtual format. This event was originally scheduled to be held in Washington DC. The Webinar is scheduled for January 19th at Noon EST / 11am CST / 9am PST and will run for an hour and a half.
Says Mette Petersen, President and Managing Director of Koelnmesse Inc.: “Jointly with the Carbon Markets & Investors Association we have decided to change the format of the Carbon Summit and present it in a virtual platform instead. We find this format more appropriate given the lowered expectations surrounding the Copenhagen meeting. Besides hosting this webinar will allow the largest possible audience to participate in an efficient and cost-effective way.”
The Carbon Summit is planning a series of 2-3 webinars leading up to Carbon TradeEx America taking place September 28 – 29, 2010 in Chicago. www.carbontradeex.com As part of this virtual education, Carbon TradeEx offers online platforms via TWITTER, LINKEDIN and FACEBOOK.

• Copenhagen Debrief: What happened in Copenhagen and how does affect the U.S. market place?
• U.S. Domestic Legislation: Has Copenhagen helped or harmed?
• Investor State of Play: What are the implications of this outcome for U.S. investors?
